Custom Crating Ltd was established in 2017, as a progression of Custom Crating, which had been operating in Christchurch for over 25 years.

Custom Crating began with Ian Coppard and his brother looking for the solution to a problem. It has grown from a small garage based business, to a successful business building crates to ship all manner of goods around New Zealand and overseas.

Ian Coppard has been a qualified builder for over 35 years. He designs, quotes and delivers all wooden shipping crates and ensures a high standard of construction. Ian takes pride in his personal contact with customers and attributes it to the high quality product and service.
